NFPA

NIPA is an affiliate member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA). Established in 1974, NFPA was the first professional association for paralegals in the United States.

NFPA serves its members by monitoring legislation, case law, and ethical opinions that affect members of the paralegal profession.  NFPA keeps members informed through its website and The National Paralegal Reporter, a quarterly magazine distributed to all members of affiliate organizations, including NIPA.

NFPA also offers educational opportunities through CLE and provides the PCC and PACE credentialing exams.

NIPA is located in Region III of the NFPA organization.  The Region III Director is Yvonne D'Antonio from the Tampa Bay Paralegal Association in Florida.
